• The initial session is 90 minutes long, which will provide us with ample time to get to know each other better.  My goal during this session is to gain an understanding of what you hope to gain from counseling and begin to collect some basic information about you.  Of particular interest for me during this session is to gain information that is both relevant to the goals you express and helpful for me to formulate how best to assist you reach those goals.  
  
  

• The standard session is 50 minutes long and will focus on issues relevant to your presenting concerns.  These working sessions will be driven by the goals we develop and will involve problem exploration on behavioral, cognitive, and emotional levels.
