Fees for Services:

 

Initial Session: $150.00

• The initial session is 60 minutes long.  My goal during this session is to gain an understanding of what you hope to gain from counseling and begin to collect some basic information about you. Of particular interest for me during this session is to gain information that is both relevant to the goals you express and helpful for me to formulate how best to assist you reach those goals.

 

 

Standard session: $150.00

• The standard session is 50 minutes long and will focus on issues relevant to your presenting concerns.  These working sessions will be driven by the goals we develop and will involve problem exploration on behavioral, cognitive, and emotional levels.  

 

 

Extended Session: $225.00

• Clients may request an extended session, which is 90 minutes in length.  A longer session time might be warranted if presenting issues are emotionally pressing or require additional time to process.  Extended sessions are arranged based on client need and scheduling availability.  Insurance plans typically do NOT pay for extended psychotherapy sessions. 

 

 

Insurance:

• Cigna, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Humana/LifeSynch and other private insurance plans are accepted at this time.  Please contact Dr. Meek for more information regarding using your health care insurance to pay for services and what types of insurance are accepted.

• A sliding scale rate may be available for clients who choose to self-pay and/or not use their inurance plan.
